The Atlantic numbers are coming in

We have our first numbers of the evening and it looks like Mrs. May has come in second to Steven McKay.

Although not a surprising result, all congratulations must be sent out to May for placing a strong second and running a great campaign for what is still widely considered a fringe party. It will be interesting to see as the night progresses how the Greens do in popular vote. I'm not sure how well they can do in seat count, if any, but it will be interesting to watch none the less.

Yet Another New Direction

So there's going to be yet another new direction for this thing. We have two elections going on at the same time - the American presidential race and our very own attempt to keep yet another minority parliament - so I'm starting to have a political overload, hence I'm going to rattle on here about all things political.

I've been rather busy all week with various things, so I didn't get a chance to write day by day since the kick of of the Canadian election on Sunday 7 September, so we'll start it off with a bunch of commentary on week number one.
